Many people are unwilling to start small because they want quick success and fear that small beginnings won’t lead to big achievements. They worry that others will see them as insignificant or less capable if they start small, which can lead to insecurity. The desire for instant results makes small steps seem slow and unimportant.
However, starting small is unavoidable in many cases and not a bad thing in itself. It gives you time to figure things out, it teaches resilience, and requires you to trust the Lord that it will grow and produce fruit in accordance with His will.
Also, remember that we always have to deal with spiritual warfare, especially when starting something new, you have to contend with the Snake and the Scorpion. The snake’s venom is in its head, and the scorpion’s venom is in its tail. In other words, the Snake tries to prevent you from starting, and the Scorpion tries to stop you from finishing once you’ve begun.
Understanding this principle is crucial for overcoming these obstacles and achieving success.
Many things start small and you need patience and persistence. Those who lack these qualities are often the ones who do not see growth, progress and movement.
If it is God’s will and time to do something, then START and TRUST the Lord. You won’t be ashamed because the Lord says:
Isaiah 54:2, Enlarge the place of thy tent and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes, (4) Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed.
