Isaiah 48:1-2, Hear this, O house of Jacob, Who are called by the name of Israel, And have come forth from the wellsprings of Judah; Who swear by the name of the Lord, And make mention of the God of Israel, But not in truth or in righteousness;

There’s much discussion around TD Jakes and Prophet TB Joshua, both facing various accusations. While I generally refrain from offering opinions on every matter, in this case, I feel compelled to do so.

Regarding TD Jakes, without concrete evidence, it’s wise and biblical to withhold judgment. Should there be any wrongdoing, and if he denies and not repent, it will eventually be exposed. If things happened, but there is repentance, reconciliation will follow. If there’s no wrongdoing, God will protect him and uphold his honor.

Regarding TB Joshua (see the video on YouTube, BBC documentary) it’s clear that he was so out of order, and in deep SIN that we must talk about it. The aim isn’t condemnation, but understanding what went wrong, why, and learning from it.

By the way, there is different between making a mistake and a lifestyle of Sin and doing Evil things to people.

With over 30 witnesses, including his own daughter, staff, and right-hand men, speaking of abuse, rape, abortions, and other grievous acts, it is very difficult to deny that something was not okay. When there are serious accusations against a minister or ministry, responsible leaders must voice their concerns rather than look the other way!

I even saw someone claiming that he figuratively puts his fingers in his ears to avoid hearing any of the accusations. This behavior reflects a religious and Pharisaic spirit in action.

Act 7:57, But they cried out with a loud voice and (stopped their ears) and rushed together at him. Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him.

Some argue that he has done a lot of good. While that might be true, it doesn’t excuse acts like rape or the other occurrences. There was even an incident where an entire building collapsed, resulting in the death of more than 80 people, yet these individuals remain silent about it.

Those men who avoid acknowledging reality or pretend that nothing is happening, refusing to discuss certain issues, are actually contributing to the problem. Those who believe it’s shameful to address and talk about these matters should feel ashamed of themselves. It is only an evil man that stand with wickedness.

I often emphasize in meetings that God no longer tolerates certain practices. The time of King Lowie, false prophets, strange fire and unhealthy church structures is over a long time ago.

While honor remains essential, creating an open, transparent, and safe environment within the house of the Lord is necessary and biblical.

We must have open discussions about these things, and it’s not exclusive to a select group of leaders; the entire church community has the right to participate. While this discussion may not always happen on social media (though sometimes it’s unavoidable), it should certainly occur within our communities.

We have no secrets, and when we engage in these conversations, we base them on the Word of God to create a healthy church culture. Speaking about these issues won’t harm the body of Christ; instead, it will benefit, and it makes the church healthy!

Kings 2:19-22, And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seethe: but the water is naught, and the ground barren. And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him. And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land. So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he has spoken.

It is important that we also talk about these things to ensure that there is no anti-reaction and antipathy towards leadership in general.

It is not a spirit that incites the church to speak evil about men of God, It is God himself who brings things into the light.

Matthew 14:26-27 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I.

God is purifying His church and His priesthood and if you can’t discern this, thinking it’s the devil bringing things into the open, then you don’t understand the time and season we are living in.

These are serious times, so make sure you are standing right for God.

Psalm 24, Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart.

The fear of the Lord is returning!
